The interior Ministry approved the anti-corruption program for 2017

The Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine hosted a meeting of the Public Council at the interior Ministry, which had approved the anticorruption program of the Ministry for 2017. About it reports a press-service of the interior Ministry.

“Anti-corruption program in 2017 – is the logical continuation of last year’s program, however more improved due to the developed accounting methodology of corruption risks”, – said the head of the Public Council Vladimir Martynenko.

This year’s program provides a number of new areas, including improvement of administrative services and interaction with the public.

According to the Minister of justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko, according to the Law “On protivodeistvie corruption” all state authorities whose jurisdiction extends to the whole of Ukraine – the presidential Administration, the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada, all of the Ministry, the SBU, the NBU, and also the regional authorities and the authorities of cities of national importance have until March 1 to file for approval of NACP-approved anti-corruption program.

On 2 February it was reportedthat Ukraine has launched an anti-corruption initiative that will be implemented in cooperation with Denmark, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Denmark. The program budget will amount to €16 million In Kiev from February 1, began its work programme office.
