In the Orenburg region of the Il-76 aircraft performed flights for extinguishing of natural fires. This was announced by the defense Ministry.

“On July 21, two Il-76 military transport aircraft has completed the departures on suppression of natural fires on the territory of the forest Fund of the Pervomaisky district of Orenburg region, dropping burning parts of the forest more than 80 tons of water” — quoted RIA Novosti message.
All the aircraft of the Russian defense Ministry dropped more than 500 tons of water on the area of forest fires in the Orenburg region.
Earlier Russian Prosecutor General’s office instructed to strengthen supervision over execution of laws in the field of ensuring fire safety in forests.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, commenting on the situation with the fires, noted that “the difficult situation in some regions of Siberia, the Far East, some have entered emergency mode”.
