Carlos Arthur Nuzman dismissed from the post of President of the National Olympic Committee of Brazil, the official website of the organization.
Nuzman, was arrested on 5 October on suspicion of corruption.
He is accused of bribery in the amount of 2 million dollars with the choice of the capital of 2016 Olympics.
Election of the host of the Games was held on 2 October 2009, won by Rio de Janeiro.
In the final round of the Brazilian city won Madrid (66:32), and Spain’s capital won the first round.
