KIEV. August 30. UNN. The Cabinet has approved a bill that cancels the issuance of special permits of the Ministry of health of Ukraine for the lesson in folk medicine and provides for the prohibition of its advertising. This was announced by the head of Department Suprun, reports UNN.
“The government adopted a resolution on the bill that repeals the issuance of a special permit from the Ministry of health of Ukraine on the activity of folk medicine (healing) and provides for the prohibition of its advertising. We have prepared this bill to Ukraine as a civilized country, does not recognize the practice of folk medicine, decoctions of the healers, rituals, healers and fortune-telling psychics as methods of diagnosis and prevention of diseases and their treatment”, – she said in Facebook.
In her opinion, the bill is committed by law to approve that such activity is not identical assistance in the establishment of health. “Patients who contact the offices of homeopaths or traditional healers, should see that their work is not supported by any public documents, so it’s not a place for medical care”, – said the head of Ministry of health.
According to her, the bill will be further considered by the Verkhovna Rada.
Earlier, the Ministry of health has prepared a bill to abolish the issuance of a special permit for occupation of traditional medicine, which also prohibits the advertising of such medicine.
