The government abandoned the planned reforms of the tax and customs

The Cabinet of Ministers has cancelled last year’s resolution on the reform and restructuring of tax and customs authorities, initiated by the Ministry of Finance. It is reported ZN.UA.

At a meeting of governments on Thursday, January 11, the decision was made to cancel the resolution approving the concept of reforming of system of bodies of the state tax and customs policy, as well as a resolution on reorganization of territorial bodies of the State fiscal service. The impugned order was adopted on 29 March and 19 July 2017.

They provided for the establishment of regional customs and Interregional head Department GFS. Regional custom and energy custom planned to reorganize by joining the Interregional customs.

Joint state tax inspection had to be attached to the police headquarters of the SFS in the areas, and the latter, in turn, together with the Office of large taxpayers is included in the Interregional head Department GFS.

Acting head of GFS Miroslav Sold, as well as the parliamentary Committee on taxation and customs policy has criticized these initiatives of the Ministry of Finance, calling them impossible to implement.

The Ministry of Finance, in turn, tied to criticism of decisions with the unwillingness of the management of the SFS to really reform the Agency.
