Later Saakashvili erase the recording, and the Prosecutor’s office, headed by a close associate of the former head of region David Sakvarelidze is not awarded L. Arefieva even suspicion.

“A competition was announced for the post of head of the Odessa customs which I, having the desire and estimating their potential, wanted to take part. I applied for the position of head of customs, the competition was also attended by Ms. Yulia Marushevska. Saakashvili worked as an assistant to Giorgi Tskhakaia, which is periodically called me and I explained that it is not my place, I do not place in the Odessa region, as the customs will deal with his team,” recalls L. Arefiev.
