On Sunday in Moldova was held parliamentary elections. After treatment 96% of protocols on party lists is the leader of the Party of socialists, campaigning for closer ties with Russia. On February 24 in Moldova was held parliamentary elections which were first held under a mixed system: 50 people on party lists and 51 in single — mandate constituencies.

After processing more than 96% of the ballots on party lists is the leader of the Party of socialists, which advocated the strengthening of ties with Russia and the EEU. According to the CEC of the Republic, it is gaining 31.6% of the votes. The block ACUM (includes party of “Action and solidarity” and “Platform “the Dignity and truth”) — 25,5%, and in the democratic party (the ruling in the current convocation) — 24,2%. Also in Parliament is the party of “shore”, it was voted to 8.5%. Other political forces have not passed the 6% threshold for parties and 8% for electoral blocks. Only in the election was attended by 14 parties and one bloc.

In single-mandate constituencies, the leader of the democratic party, competing for 19 seats in Parliament. The socialists can count on 15 seats, and the power ACUM 11.

As noted by the CEC of Moldova, turnout was 49.2%. At the recent 2014 election the turnout was larger — about 56%.

Preliminary results of the elections suggests that parties will have to engage in dialogue to form a government, since none of the political forces will not take the Parliament seat 51 out of 100. The President of Moldova, the representative of the Party of socialists Igor Dodon said that the negotiations will be difficult.

As stated in the party of socialists, was some irregularities in the voting.

“About ten thousand people in our party observed the elections. Virtually all of the violations recorded. They are studied by our lawyers, after which the party will announce its position on the legitimacy of these elections, including in areas for voters from Transnistria”, — said one of the leaders of the socialist ion Ceban.

Representatives of Pro-European opposition of Moldova (ACUM) believe that the elections cannot be called fair. So, the leader of the party “Action and solidarity” Maia Sandu said the management used the residents of Transnistria.

“These elections, as we have seen, cannot be called free and fair. It was the most undemocratic elections in the history of the country, she said. — It was rigged. We watched as the orderly brought voters from Transnistria who were paid for a vote in favor of certain candidates from the regime”.

CIS observers revealed no serious violations. This was reported by a member of the organization’s mission, state Duma Deputy Pavel Dorokhin.

“I want to thank all participants of the electoral process, the elections were free and democratic. Of course, there were minor violations, but we believe that they will not be able to affect the outcome of the vote,” — said the Chairman of the party Vladimir plahotniuc.

As told to the CEC, the Commission received 18 complaints of violations. Nine of the democratic party, six from the party of socialists, two from the bloc ACUM and one from the party of “shore”.

Earlier, the Parliament of Moldova adopted the decision to cancel “day of silence” and to allow campaigning on election day.
