Thursday, April 5, the Hungarian low cost airline Wizz Air has resumed flights to Kharkov after 4-year break after completing the first flight from Dortmund (Germany). It is reported avianews.com.

Flown the A320 on the runway was met with a water salute from fire hoses. The aircraft was filled to more than 80%. From Dortmund to Kharkov flew 153 passengers, and in the opposite direction went by 154 people.

Such flights will be operated twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

In addition, from 20 June Wizz Air will launch flights to Kharkov from Katowice, from where it will fly on Wednesdays and Sundays. From November 25 on Wednesdays and Sundays, the airline will fly from Kharkov to Vienna.

Recall that until 2014, the route network of Wizz Air includes two directions from Kharkov. The flights were carried out in Warsaw and Kutaisi.
