According to the organizers in Facebook, the exhibition of illustrations to be held on 9 and 10 March on the occasion of Shevchenko’s days in N2N Gallery.

“Project a “Quantum leap Shevchenko” — a fusion of free thought and science, is an attempt to modernize a dated archive of popular cultural images. This journey with Virgil Ukrainian — Taras, where the viewer often assumes the role of Shevchenko”, — noted the organizers of the exhibition.

The author of the exhibition, which included posters with the image of the poet in images of different movie stars and historical figures, is Illustrator Alexander Sin. He believes that the project will encourage viewers to read more about the Ukrainian poet and his eventful life, which goes far beyond the biographical data of the school curriculum.

After that, the veterans of the Ukrainian Volunteer corps “Right sector” battalion OUN “MVD Kiev-2” urged him to abandon the idea. Leonid ostal’tsi stated that it did not cancel the exhibition.
