The European Parliament voted for a ban on the sale in the EU of disposable plastic tableware by 2021.

“On Wednesday the Parliament approved a new law banning disposable plastic products such as plates, Cutlery, straws and cotton swabs,” — said in a press release on the EP website.
It is noted that we are talking about banning the implementation of such products on the EU market by 2021.
Earlier it was reported that Russia may be introduced a conservation fee for disposable tableware.
