“The Embassy urged cinemas to refuse to show the film, which openly distributes and popularitywith modern aggression of Russia in the world, the victim of which was the Ukraine, using the historical memory of the heroes of the Second world war”, — said the Ukrainian diplomats.
The Embassy also thanked the representatives of the Ukrainian community in the United States, which “already failed to stop screenings of the film in their cities.”
In addition, the Ukrainian Embassy asked that “all other activists to join the common effort” and to encourage local theaters to “opt out” of the Russian film.
