The Dnieper metallurgical plant stopped production
The stop occurred because of the termination of deliveries of coke from the occupied Donbass
Due to the lack of supply of coke from the occupied Alchevsk completely stopped the work of “Dnieper metallurgical plant” in the town of Kamenskoye (Dneprodzerzhinsk former). About it reports a press-service of the enterprise.
“The termination of supplies of coke and a significant working capital deficit led to the suspension of major units and equipment of the plant. Due to the difficult economic and financial situation, the General Director of PJSC “DMK” Vyacheslav Mospan signed March 30, a decree according to which the plant entered hot preservation processing equipment”, – stated in the message.

The factory is the only company in Ukraine producing sheet piles used in construction and hydraulic structures, contact rails for metro lines for electrolytic cells used in aluminum plants.
It is also the world’s only manufacturer of rolled axial profile of billet for railway transport, which is mainly implemented in the North American market.
