The court revoked bail for suspect in fatal accident on Victory square in Kiev
KIEV. August 20. UNN. The appellate court reversed a decision that allowed the suspect in a fatal accident out on bail, writes UNN with reference to the Facebook press Secretary of the Kiev Prosecutor’s office Hopes the maximes.
“Tuesday, August 20, 2019, the Board of judges of the Kyiv appeal court satisfied the appeal of Prosecutor’s office of Kiev cancelled the decision of Shevchenkovsky district court concerning the determination of bail as alternative to detention for the Audi’s driver suspected in the fatal accident on Victory square”, — stated in the message.
“Let me remind you, the application for appeal of this decision to the Kyiv appeal court was made on 23 July 2019. Twice the appeal meeting was not held due to the absence of the suspect,” added maksimets
It will be recalled that the Kyiv court of appeals on August 12 postponed consideration of the appeal of the Prosecutor of Kyiv on the decision of the district court which set bail as alternative to detention the suspect in an accident on the capital’s Victory square.
