The court questioned four witnesses in the case of Odessa “Crane”
KIEV. 25 Feb. UNN. Malinovsky district court of Odessa questioned four witnesses in the case of a taking of 185 million UAH from the local budget for the purchase of a building of the former factory “region”. About this UNN reports quoting the press service of the Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office.
“February 25, 2019 with the participation of the prosecutors of SAP in Malinovsky district court of Odessa continues the trial on the case against the Odessa mayor and others accused of misappropriation of 185 million hryvnias of means of the local budget for the purchase of a building of the former factory “region”. During the court session interrogated four witnesses”, – reported in SAP.
In addition, with the participation of a specialist researched evidence.
The next meeting is scheduled for 10:00 on 26 February 2019.
We will remind, on February 13 the court in the case of the Odessa plant “region” explored the evidence for the prosecution. February 14 was scheduled to start questioning witnesses.
On suspicion in Commission of crime the individuals reported on 13 February 2018. While four of them (officials of the Odessa city Council) – in the order determined by article 135, 278 of the Criminal procedural code of Ukraine (misappropriation of another’s property by abuse of official position), because at that time their whereabouts were unknown.
A day later at the international airport “Borispol” of the Odessa city mayor and his Deputy were detained.
