KIEV. 7 Aug. UNN. The appellate court of Kiev postponed consideration of the complaint for the arrest of the driver of the Hummer Kirill Ostrovsky, who knocked down a child, due to the fact that the judge did not have time to get acquainted with the case materials, the correspondent of UNN.

“Due to the redistribution between the judges postponed the hearing on 30.08.2018. At 15:15. New judge Victor Clay should be familiar with the case,” – said the clerk.

The case materials received to the court of appeal, after which, according to the procedure, there is an automatic allocation between the judges. The judge, elected under the automatic system, not managed to get acquainted with the case materials.

We will remind, on July 26, the Shevchenkivsky district court of Kyiv chose to arrest the driver of the Hummer Kirill Ostrovsky, who to death brought down the girl on a pedestrian crossing in the capital and tried to flee the scene.

The accident occurred on the Boulevard of Lesya Ukrainka 24 July at 22:30. The accident killed 10-year-old girl.
