Prosecutors investigating the case of assignment of PrivatBank UAH 19 billion refinancing of the NBU
Pechersk district court of Kyiv has arrested the property of the Ordzhonikidze mining and processing plant, Nikopol Ferroalloy plant, Marganets mining and processing plant “Dniproazot (final beneficiaries, Igor Kolomoisky, Gennady Bogolyubov) in the investigation of embezzlement of funds from PrivatBank.
This is evidenced by the court’s decision of 14 September 2017, reports RBC-Ukraine.
According to the court, the arrest was effected at the request of the General Prosecutor’s office is investigating “the matter PrivatBank”, which was filed three years ago. According to prosecutors, officials of financial institutions are suspected in the seizure of 19 billion UAH of refinancing allocated by the national Bank.
According to the investigation, PrivatBank issued 42-m-controlled enterprises with loans ranging from 18 to 73 million dollars, secured by property rights on the product. These businesses, in turn, made suspicious trades by 100% payment and transferring money to accounts of non-residents in order to allegedly receive the goods. However, the supply of goods did not take place, and the money is not returned.
