KIEV. June 18. UNN. Lieutenant Colonel of Armed forces of Ukraine detained for extortion of 6 thousand hryvnias of a bribe from a subordinate to this scheme, the officer drew his wife. About it UNN reported in the press center of the OOS.
“Military counterintelligence of the combined forces documented the fact of extortion by the commander of one of divisions of VSU illegal benefit in the amount of 6 thousand UAH. from the subordinate officer for not preventing translated for the further passage of military service to another military unit. To bribe the military drew the wife – that she transferred funds at the place of residence in the city of Zaporozhye”, – reported in the headquarters.
This fact, according to the materials of the military counterintelligence service, the military Prosecutor’s office of Zaporizhzhya garrison of the southern region of Ukraine initiated criminal proceedings under part 3 of article 369-2 of the criminal code of Ukraine “Abuse of influence”, providing for the punishment of deprivation of liberty for a term from three till eight years with confiscation of property.
“June 17, 2018 Lieutenant Colonel “H” was detained by the military counter-intelligence officers, along with investigators of the military Prosecutor and special forces of national police of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
