The chief of police Shostka found weapons and Russian flag – GPU

Deputy chief of police of the city of Shostka of the Sumy area exposed to receive 7 thousand UAH of illegal benefit, and at his head was found a large quantity of arms and flag of the Russian Federation. About this on his page in Facebook reported the press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan.

The operation carried out by the Prosecutor together with management of internal security of the region.

In addition, the Gar held a number of investigative actions directed on establishment of other law enforcement officers involved in the crime. In particular, carried out the authorized search in the office and at the place of residence of the chief of the division of police.

During searches in the house of a leader who has a special rank of Colonel of the police discovered and seized firearms, a significant amount of ammunition, knives, stichoi and the flag of the Russian Federation.

In his office discovered and seized $21.5 thousand, €150, gold bars, jewelry and coins collection.

Initiated pre-trial investigation to establish the origin of the found values.
