In the General Prosecutor completed a pretrial investigation in criminal proceedings on suspicion of the Prosecutor of the black sea city Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region and passed to the court indictment. About it reports a press-service GPU.
“The Prosecutor took possession of the property of a citizen in the amount of $5 thousand by abuse of trust and incite the citizen to the attempt at giving undue advantage to an official,” – said in the message.
The Ministry clarified that the bribe was meant to help to avoid criminal liability and to remove previously seized.
The Prosecutor is accused of violating part 2 of article 190 (fraud), part 4 of article 27 part 2 of article 15, part 3 of article 369 (bribery) of the criminal code. He faces a penalty of imprisonment from four to eight years with confiscation of property or without it.
