The Kharkiv court extended the measure of restraint in form of detention for Vladimir Earless, a suspect in hostage-taking in Ukrainian post office in December 2017. About it reports a press-service of the Kiev district court of Kharkiv

It is also reported that a preparatory hearing, which was scheduled for today was postponed until 11:30 on April 16.

Earless arrest extended for 2 months, i.e. until 27 may.

30 December 2017 in Kharkov the man in the mask attacked the Ukrainian post office and took in hostages of three employees and six visitors, including two children. The attacker was in possession of items like a gun and a knife. He also threatened to put in action explosives, which allegedly had been.

During the RAID, law enforcement officers freed all the hostages and arrested the attacker.

Bezucha charged with the capture and detention of hostages (part 2 of article 147 of the criminal code), illegal production and possession of narcotic drugs (part 2 of article 309 of the criminal code) and cannabis (part 1 of article 310 of the criminal code).

According to conclusions it is judicial-psychiatric examination, the suspect suffers from a chronic mental illness at the time of committing the incriminated actions they could understand and control them.
