“Under the new order of the Chairman of the government Michael mishustina 320 million roubles will be allocated for subsidies to shipping companies which are engaged in sea and river cruises,” reads the website of the Cabinet.

These funds can be spent for payments on leasing contracts.

Subsidies, in particular, will be those companies that have not conducted large-scale layoffs of employees and do not have tax debts and insurance premiums.

Applications for receiving state support can be sent until August 15. Payment will be assessed a lump sum for the full amount of the lease payments from March 11 to December 31.

Earlier Mishustin has included passenger transport by rail and sea in the list of industries affected by the pandemic coronavirus.
