Today, November 15, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the strategy of development of the Ministry of internal Affairs until 2020. About it reports a press-service of the interior Ministry.

The Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov said that a significant part of the provisions that were laid out in the document, since 2014, has already been done.

“The strategy 2020 is a logical continuation of the initiated changes. To promote the role of law enforcement in society, strengthening contacts with residents, implement new approaches and views on our work priorities for the service functions, ” – said Avakov.

The Deputy Minister of internal Affairs Tatyana Kovalchuk said that in a short time managed to create a new Central body of Executive power national police force and to form a National guard.

“In October, according to the results of sociological research conducted by national and international institutes of sociology, the greatest trust of citizens among the state institutions and societies: the national guard (52.6 per cent), State emergency service (50,5%), the State border service ( 46,4%), volunteer battalions (43,9%), the national police as a whole (39.3 per cent) and Patrol police (40.9 per cent) “, – said Kovalchuk.

The Deputy Minister stressed that in the near future will be created a unified emergency service 112, the reformed police preventive activities and introduced the institution of criminal misconduct, to deal effectively with crime.
