The borders of the UK will be open after Brexit for EU citizensUncategorized July 21, 2017
Theresa May is ready to offer EU citizens free movement to the UK for up to two years after approval of the plan for Brexit, developed by the British Chancellor Philip Hammond. This publication reports The Times.
Hammond claims to have the support of all Ministers in the question of the transitional agreement after the UK leaves the European Union in 2019. After a two-year period will introduce a new immigration regime.
But yesterday it emerged that Brussels wanted to limit the free movement of British citizens. Over a million Brits living on the continent, will have the right to remain in the country where they live, but will lose their automatic right to live or work in another EU state.
