As reported the UNIAN in Department of communications Department of National police in the Odessa region, the case was opened upon the statement of the Directorate of the stadium by the Seaside police Department part 2 of article 194 (intentional destruction or damage of property) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
The police head asked after yesterday’s match, held in Odessa between the teams of football clubs “Chernomorets” (Odessa) – “the Vorskla” (Poltava). During the game, according to police, the fans were burning seats and hung a large banner “the Kremlin, repent!”.
It is noted that fans interfered with the conduct of the match and destroyed the property of the stadium, and create by their actions a threat to the security present at the stadium of citizens.
On Saturday 12 fans were arrested after the match, during the arrest they resisted.
“This (violation of the order – the UNIAN), and willful disobedience to employees of law enforcement agencies, not the political beliefs of offenders, as trying to make this event the persons concerned, caused the delivery to the police of the participants of the events that took place yesterday at the stadium,” said the police.
In the Chapter stressed that, while fulfilling its mandate, the police acted within the law and prevent further escalating the situation.
At the same time, according to fans, they were detained for the banner “the Kremlin, repent!”, and the use of pyrotechnics is not related to the incident as the ultras “do it every second match.”
In turn, adviser to the regional Central Board of Netpolice Ruslan Forostyak reported that during the match were committed hooliganism with the use of powerful pyrotechnics that led to the suspension of the game and “numerous complaints from viewers and the administration of the police.”
“However, police did not intervene and did not even go to the stadium directly. After the match it was decided to bring one person in an administrative order to the police Department to compile adminblog, but his friends tried to physically interfere with the patrol, task force to perform their duties, committed willful disobedience and resorted to physical resistance,” said Forostyak.
He also claims that fans were detained in the stadium and after the match on the street.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on the evening of 8 December in Odessa were detained 12 football fans, violated the public order. In particular, the communication Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Odessa region stated that during a football match between “Chernomorets” (Odessa) and “Vorskla” (Poltava) that took place at the stadium “Chernomorets” fans of one of the teams lit flares and set fire to the seat.
