In connection with the military situation and high probability of invasion of the Russian Federation in Odessa region there were checkpoints with armored vehicles and mortars.
On the training of security forces of Odesa region to repel Russian aggression, said the Agency “UKRINFORM” reports “Диалог.UA”.
For the second week continues the martial law in 10 Ukrainian regions. Among them the Odessa region. In preparation for the invasion of the Russian army the approaches to Odessa and other large cities were equipped with checkpoints with armored vehicles, mortars and other weapons. There are already over 30 on the highway Kiev – Odessa, Nikolaev road and other major transportation links.
Police warned Ukrainians about that at checkpoints, they can expect a check in order to “prevent the crime”.
In parallel with this, the SBU intends to conduct complex counter-intelligence measures to prevent possible provocations of the aggressor. The security forces asked Ukrainians to suffer any inconvenience, as well as to inform, if you notice suspicious activity of unknown persons.
