Suspects in the kidnapping and murder of a foreigner in Odessa taken into custody

KIEV. June 21. UNN. Foreigners who were kidnapped for ransom and subsequently killed a Turkish citizen, was taken into custody. This is reported by UNN citing the press-service of Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region.

Odessa local Prosecutor’s office No. 2 (Malinovsky district) performs procedural management in criminal proceedings according to p. 3, 12 h. 2 articles 115, h. 3, article 146, part 4 of article 189, part 4 of article 187 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (premeditated murder of a kidnapped person by prior arrangement by group of persons; kidnapping; extortion; robbery).

“On Tuesday, June 20, at the request of the local Prosecutor’s office suspects by the court elected a measure of restraint in form of detention”, – is spoken in the message.

Pre-trial investigation found that 15.06.2017 year, three foreigners entered the apartment on the street of Filatova in Odessa and kidnapped a citizen of the Turkish Republic with the purpose of ransom. Later, the men killed the victim to conceal the crime.

Law enforcers detained the mentioned persons in “hot pursuit” and told them about the suspicion.
