Canadian boxer Adonis Stevenson came out of the induced coma, informs Allboxing.

The athlete was put in it after a blow received in battle with the Ukrainian Alexander Stud in the battle for the title of champion WBC.

Stevenson opened his eyes and was able to communicate with family, but it paralyzed the right side of the body.

Recall, 41-year-old canadian suffered a severe traumatic brain injury.

He had an operation, after which the boxer was put into an artificial coma. After that, the doctors reduced the dose of drugs that keep the athlete in a state of drug-induced coma.

Stevenson owned the belt for three years, it was his 10th defence and first defeat in 8 years. On account of the Stud 16 wins and no defeats.
