At the upcoming CES 2020 company Nanoleaf will present its new development – a system Nanoleaf Learning Series. It is based on last year’s hit, “intelligent fixtures” in the form of modular panels with a synchronization mechanism with different appliances. In the new system all this is supplemented patented intelligent learning algorithm.

Details of the system operation is still secret, the company said only that the lamps Nanoleaf will monitor the user’s behavior to learn their needs in lighting. To do this, they will be able to draw information from a variety of sources, mainly other products of the brand – Learning Switch, Button, Gateway and Bulb. As well as other elements of the smart home.

Task Nanoleaf Learning Series to learn how to understand what lighting users need in different situations, and to include it without a team. The management is retained in full, including support for voice commands, but it fades into the background. Clear yet, whether the owner deliberately “train” the lamp to operate in a particular mode or he will have to rely entirely on the intelligence of the machine.

The full functionality of Nanoleaf Learning Series is still unknown. As an example of its work the representatives of the company give dynamic room lighting – the system detects you approaching and turns on the lights sequentially lighting the lamps from the threshold into the room. Conversely, when you go out, the system itself gradually extinguishes the light, avoiding the sharp transitions between the modes of darkness and light.
