Seized hostages in Kharkov can go to jail for 15 years
Uncategorized December 31, 2017 The Directorate of the National police in the Kharkiv region opened a criminal case on the fact of capture of hostages in the Department of “Ukrposhta” in Kharkov. This was reported on page Kharkiv police in Facebook.
The case opened under part 2 of article 147 (capture of hostages) Criminal code of Ukraine. According to the sanction of the article hostage-taking threatens till 15 years of imprisonment.
Today, December 30, in Kharkov the unknown man seized the Ukrainian post office with people inside. According to preliminary information, the invader attacked the Department for the purpose of robbery.
Around 18:00 the speaker of Ukraine Yaroslav was Trakalo reportedthat from the building Department during negotiations with the invader managed to free three women and two children aged 11 and 13 years; held hostage by the men remain four.
