The representatives of the Bolivarian national intelligence service arrested on Sunday the head of the National Assembly (unicameral Parliament) of Venezuela, which is actually excluded from the decision-making process and is under the control of political opponents of the head of state, Juan, Guido. On Friday, Guido said that the Venezuelan Constitution allows him to exercise the powers of the President, and called on citizens to stage mass protest on January 23.
