The Scots should have the opportunity to choose their own future, as soon as the conditions of a British exit from the European Union. This was stated by the first Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon, speaking on Tuesday to his colleagues in the party, reports Radio Liberty.

Sturgeon also urged the EU to condemn the harsh actions of the Spanish police during the referendum on the independence of Catalonia.

October 9, participants of the annual conference of the Scottish national party expressed solidarity with supporters of the exit of Catalonia from Spain.
