SBU seized in the Odessa region the party of illicit alcohol

ODESSA-KIEV. 16 Feb. UNN. Staff of management of SB of Ukraine in Odessa region withdrew from illicit trafficking a shipment of smuggled alcohol, reports the correspondent of UNN , citing the press service of the Ministry.

Law enforcement officers stopped to check a truck near the village of liubashivka. During the inspection of the trucks field investigators of SBU found twenty five barrels with five and a half thousand liters of alcohol without proper documents. The value of the seized products, according to preliminary estimates, nearly 200 thousand UAH. According to the secret service, the alcohol was smuggled from the territory of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic for the production of counterfeit alcoholic beverages in Odessa region.
