SBU: Military from Odessa wanted to buy machine guns and Vintorez from Russia

This was at the briefing said the head of the office of the SBU Oleksandr Tkachuk and head of Service , Vasyl Hrytsak.
“The military intelligence service… warned preparations for the use of military weapons during peaceful protests in the city center… the plans of the attacker over the fact that he wanted to buy only machine guns and a sniper rifle: his plan was also to purchase silent sniper rifles, and heavy machine gun Pecheneg and VSS. This weapon of the Russian production”, – said in the SBU.
According to the reporter, the detained intended to get the said weapon until 20 February. When purchasing it is calculated not only money, but drugs.
“The identity of the attacker is very interesting. He is a supporter of the far-right of the fan movement promoted the ideas of pan-Slavism. In addition, the contractor, according to the operative data and with his words, supports the idea of creating fake psevdogosudarstvennyh formations”, – said the speaker.
Hrytsak said that the Service investigates the version with the “Russian trace” in the preparation of crimes. According to him, all the actions and intentions of the perpetrator were under the control of counterintelligence and documented, and SBU knew about his plans – the specific location of the weapons, the place where he wanted to hide it, and the method of transport to Kiev.
