The security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has called anti-Ukrainian propaganda expelled from Russia and was arrested in Kharkov journalist Elena Boyko. This was reported on the website of the Department.

“Starting in 2014 agitatorsha was circulated on the Internet materials of anti-Ukrainian character, promoted the confrontation between the Ukrainians because of their political beliefs, publicly called for the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine”, – said the press service of the SBU.

In December, she was declared internationally wanted, and December 15, Galitsky district court of Lviv has given permission for its detention. Against the journalist a criminal case under part 1 of article 110 (“incitement to violate the territorial integrity of the country”) the criminal code of Ukraine.

As reported by the journalist’s lawyer Galina Perfilieva, 16 Jan Boyko (real name Visor) by train delivered to the Russian-Ukrainian border. Perfil Boyko considers the deportation of illegal and stated the intention to appeal.

“She was expelled on Wednesday on the basis of the decision on forced expulsion and the decision on enforcement proceedings, – the lawyer declared. – Both documents are dated 15 January and both are marked that they can be appealed within ten days. Thus, to date, they have not entered into force, and the deportation of my client was illegal.”

In mid-December, Preobrazhensky court of Moscow has recognized Boyko guilty of violating the regime of stay in Russia, was fined five thousand rubles and decided to expel it outside of the Russian Federation. Up to this point, Boyko was in the center of temporary detention of foreign citizens and individuals without citizenship in the Metropolitan Chapter of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In court, the journalist declared that in the Ukraine against it criminal case is brought, so she can’t come back. Boiko admitted his guilt and explained that he came to Russia to participate in television programs as an expert, but has not issued a patent for a career, as the work is ad-hoc. Protection Boyko filed a complaint to the European court of human rights and sent a petition for political asylum in Russia, where the journalist was denied.
