Sanctions: a tanker of gasoline arrives from Iran to Venezuela
KIEV. May 24. UNN. Iran, which is under U.S. sanctions, have sent 5 tankers also sanctioned Venezuela. About it reports Reuters with reference to data of analytical company Refinitiv Eikon, informs UNN.
“Five tankers from Iran transport to Venezuela of about 1.5 million barrels of gasoline. In both countries there are sanctions of the United States. The first of five tankers of gasoline on Sunday, may 24, arrived from Iran to Venezuela,” – said in the message.
It is noted that earlier the Minister of oil industry of Venezuela, Tarek El-Aissami congratulated the imminent arrival of ships from Iran. Venezuelan state television showed a military ship and the plane are prepared to meet the tankers.
States that the United States intended to hinder the delivery of fuel to Venezuela and may impose punitive measures against the crews of ships.
Note, Venezuela has some of the world’s largest oil reserves.
