KIEV. April 14. UNN. The organizers of the Russian pre-party of “Eurovision-2017” scheduled for April 21, the concert was canceled, reports UNN with reference to RIA “Novosti”.
“The event Moscow Eurovision Party in 2017, is scheduled for April 21, 2017, has been canceled due to the unstable political situation and the lack of official decisions on participation of the Russian delegation,” — said in a statement on the website.
Earlier, the organizers reported that the official Russian party “Eurovision” will feature contestants from nine countries, as well as special guests.
It was assumed that the participant from Russia Yulia Samoilova will perform the song Flame is Burning and some others. In early April it became known that sale of tickets was stopped. Many delegations began to inform the organizers who will be able to arrive in Moscow only if Russia will be allowed to vote (in the competition).
As reported UNN, SBU forbade entry into Ukraine for Russian singer Yulia Samoilovi for three years.
After that Russia has refused to change its representative on the Eurovision song contest in Kiev, however, the “First channel” confirmed that Yulia Samoilova will participate in the Eurovision song contest in 2018.
Later, Yu Samoylova, will not attend Eurovision in Kyiv, glad that her candidacy was confirmed to participate in Eurovision song contest in 2018.
However, the EBU has informed that does not exclude the suspension of Russia from participation in “Eurovision — 2018”.
