The Russian company “stroygazmontazh” has completed the first phase of the contract for the construction of the Kerch bridge – building road part.
About this informed the customer of construction of fku uprdor “Taman” Federal road Agency, reports “RIA Novosti”.
The customer noted that it took the builders of the road part of the bridge across the Kerch Strait to complete the preparations for the opening movement, the start of which is scheduled for the second half of may.
“Company “stroygazmontazh” has completed the first phase of the state contract for the construction of Crimean bridge — road component”, — stated in the message.
As the head of fku uprdor “Taman” Roman Novikov, now road workers are finishing preparations for the opening of traffic on the new section of the Federal highway A-290 — on the Crimean bridge to allow movement during the second half of may. For the remainder of the road will complete the construction of the finished road traffic signs and operations is to provide comprehensive readiness of all systems and units to ensure safe driving on the new road.
At the same time “SGM” continues construction and installation work on the second phase of the contract — the railway part of the Crimean bridge. The deadline is December 2019.

Recall, the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine monitors all companies operating in the construction of the Kerch bridge Russia annexed Crimea, and includes them in the list of sanctions.
Earlier Volodymyr Omelian announced that because of the bridge Kerch Ukraine is losing tens of millions of hryvnia. And the Director of the Mariupol commercial seaport Oleksandr Oliynyk predicted that due to the construction of the bridge Kerch to Mariupol now can’t get 144 of the vessel, which previously worked port.
The intention to build a bridge across the Kerch Strait, Russian President Putin said immediately after the annexation of Crimea in March 2014. To build a bridge promised by 2018, to be commissioned in the summer of 2019.
The Ukrainian side has withdrawn from the Treaty with Russia on the construction of the bridge in 2014 after the annexation of Crimea by Russia.
