Consulate General of Russia in new York took up the situation with the Russian actress Irina Usok, detained at the airport in new York on suspicion of kidnapping his own daughter. It has already been attended by the Consul General of the Russian Federation.
“We are aware of the situation and provide full assistance to Irina Usok,” – said the representative of the Consulate General of TASS, and promised to give details later.

The woman flew to the United States, where her husband, an American whom she married in 2014 and had his kid. The birth took place in the USA that allows a girl born to apply for US citizenship. Later, however, Usok relationship with her husband deteriorated and she returned to Russia, taking with him the daughter. In the birth certificate father is not inscribed, although the child bears his surname. After the departure of the woman’s father informed the police about the kidnapping, the child transferred to the family of the biological father.
Consulate General of Russia in new York, Facebook announced some details of the story. Usok was arrested on 18 January 2019. “The warrant for her arrest was issued by the police Department of Toms river (new Jersey)”, – stated in the message.

Irina Usok faces several years in prison.
According to available information, the daughter Irina Usok was handed over to the American authorities the sister of the alleged father, as he was outside the United States. According to others, the child may be in local custody.
