KIEV. 28 Feb. UNN. In Transcarpathia border guards detained for extortion of $ 700 from his colleagues for not disclosing alleged facts of his involvement in the smuggling of tobacco products. About this UNN reports citing the press service of the State Bureau of investigation.
“Detained by the inspectors of the border customs post “Solotvyno”, which, according to preliminary information, demanded from colleagues of $ 700 for non-disclosure of the facts of his involvement in the smuggling of tobacco products across the state border of Ukraine, not corresponding to reality”, – stated in the message.
Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings conducted by the investigators of territorial administration of the RRG, located in Lviv, on materials of staff of Department of fight against corruption and organized crime of the SBU in the Transcarpathian region and employees of Department of internal security of Mukachevo border detachment West.
