KIEV. May 24. UNN. The sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council approved on Wednesday a trip to the North Korean delegation at a summit of leaders of the United States and the DPRK Donald trump and Kim Jong-UN, to be held June 12 in Singapore. It is reported by UNN with reference to Reuters.
The approval of the security Council took, as part of a delegation headed by North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN may enter officials, who are subject to UN sanctions, including a ban on leaving the country.
The UN Committee supervising the observance of the sanctions against the DPRK adopted the decision to approve the trip by the delegation in response to the request of Singapore authorities, contained in an official letter sent to the Committee on may 16. The message the Singapore government calls the scheduled summit, the US — DPRK “opportunity to achieve the goal of a peaceful resolution of the DPRK nuclear issue and establishing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.”
The message doesn’t say who exactly from officials will join the delegation at the summit in Singapore. According to the introduction of UN sanctions against the DPRK, a ban on traveling abroad and the freezing of assets was imposed against approximately 80 people.
As reported UNN, the DPRK has approved the list of journalists who will cover the closing of nuclear test site.
