The President of Russia Vladimir Putin declared about the intention not to violate the Constitution and take the presidential post more than two terms in a row, reports “Interfax”.

“I have always strictly adhered to the Constitution. The Constitution clearly spelled out – no more than two consecutive terms. Right now I have a second consecutive term – no more than two consecutive terms,” – said Putin, answering a journalist’s question whether he will leave his post at the conclusion of the current presidential term.

According to Reuters, the fourth presidential term for Putin, which began three weeks ago, expires in 2024.
