Poroshenko met Lukashenko in UAE
The presidents discussed the development of trade relations
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to the United Arab Emirates. About it reports reports BelTA.
In particular, Poroshenko said active implementation of earlier agreements on demarcation and economic cooperation. He also praised the expansion of cooperation with Belarus in various areas.
“In trade-economic terms we are working very actively. Our trade already, despite all sorts of challenges and obstacles, made more than $ 3 billion, maybe $ 3.5 billion will be today. But we have a very good opportunity to expand cooperation due to the interaction of regions”, – said Lukashenko.
Recall President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia (October 31 – November 1), and the United Arab Emirates (November 1-2).
In Saudi Arabia Poroshenko met with the leadership of Saudi Arabia – king Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud and the crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and defence Minister Mohammed bin Salman al Saud.
In the UAE, the Ukrainian President will hold talks with crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme commander of the UAE armed forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nagano and Vice-President, Prime Minister and defence Minister of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum.
