The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has received almost 550 million UAH of dividends from the company Rothschild Trust (Switzerland), which manages the shares of the President of the Corporation Roshen.

Such data was published in the Unified state register of declarations of persons authorized to perform state functions or local self-government, the report on significant changes and dated January 1, 2019.

In particular, the President received dividends in the amount of 548 678 680 UAH from the company Rothschild Trust Schweiz AG.

It is also noted that the President has indicated in changes to the property as of the electronic Declaration of the dividends received from public joint stock company “investment Fund” “PRAYM ESSETS KEPITAL” 26 217 129 UAH.

We will remind, on December 26, the President declared the receipt of dividends from Rothschild Trust Schweiz AG in the amount of 556 742 460 UAH.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Poroshenko signed a contract on the transfer of its stake in Roshen Corporation independent trust with a foreign Bank Rothschild after the company failed to find a buyer.

Blind trust is a form of asset management, where Trustees are forbidden to give to the beneficiaries any information about the management of assets of the trust. According to the Constitution of Ukraine, the President may not have another representative mandate, hold office in bodies of state power or in associations of citizens, and to engage in other paid or entrepreneurial activity, enter governing body or Supervisory Council, with the aim of making a profit.
