KIEV. April 20. UNN. In the near future, once the court decides, a painting by Caravaggio “the Taking of Christ in custody or Kiss of Judas”, which was stolen back in 2008, will give the Odessa art Museum. This was reported by press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan, reports UNN.

According to the press Secretary of Yuri Lutsenko during a visit in Odessa, visited the Odessa art Museum, whose Director was recently appointed Alexander Roitburd.

“The attorney General promised in the near future, once the court decides to transfer the picture of Caravaggio’s “the Taking of Christ in custody or Kiss of Judas”, which was stolen back in 2008, back to the Museum. The picture which was taken by the criminals in Germany were returned to Ukraine, however, received significant damage and requires immediate restoration,” wrote Gar.
