On February 16 Oktyabrskom the Palace passed quite unusual for such venues, the concert, the legendary Germans Oomph! performed metal – industrial-rock with a Symphony orchestra.

Despite the fact that in Kiev the group arrived to celebrate their 30th anniversary, their music continues to remain relevant and “fresh”, as evidenced by the presence in the audience of a huge number of young people who were not even born at the time when Oomph! already started his work.

The hall was full of empty seats practically was not, and the conversations it was clear that fans came from all corners of Ukraine, to hear their idols.

As befits rock stars Oomph! came on the scene nearly an hour after the stated start with, so burning with impatience fans burst into applause on seeing the scene of the band members.


Dero GOI thanked the fans in the Ukrainian language / UNIAN

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! Dakum!”, – turned to the audience, frontman Dero GOI directly in Russian and Ukrainian languages. “For us, a big part of being in your beautiful capital!”, he added in English.

After Oomph! he performed one of his biggest hits – Labirynth – the applause did not cease for so long that the Gentiles could not resist once again to show off his knowledge of the Ukrainian words and thanked the audience for the warm reception: “Dakum, Ukraine!”.

Especially well performed by the Symphony orchestra sounded the song Alles aus Liebe. Two dozen violins did an incredibly beautiful riffs in this song are just fantastic sounding. In General, it is difficult to imagine a better musical combination than a rock in the Symphony orchestra, because all the many facets of rock melodies reveals all the details in the execution of the same violins, violas and pipes, creating enormously beautiful sound.

He tirelessly moved around the stage throughout the entire concert from one part of the room to another, and interacted with the audience. After another song he asked the fans. “You want more?” he asked alternately three girls and when they all answered “Yes!” pretended to be surprised and joked, “what is wrong with Ukrainian girls?!”.

The main part of the performance, the band made their most famous hit Augen auf!. After that, the musicians left the stage, but not for long. Furiously, screaming and clapping fans forced them to return and perform two more songs and Niemand Auf Kurs.

At the end of the evening the group went out several times to bow and didn’t want to say goodbye to the audience, and it is a sure sign that the German rockers, who is so fond of Kiev arrive here more than once.
