The main designer of the ceremony, David Korins lifted the intrigue of how it will look in the scene.

The scene of the Oscar-2019 graced with many an undulating gold and blue layers that weigh approximately 725 pounds. In addition, it will be decorated with 40 thousands of real roses.

Writes Vogue.ua David is one of the main designers of the industry who is actively working on Broadway, created the scenery for the musical “Hamilton” and was nominated for “Oscar”. His set design for the “Oscar” David calls the “crystal cloud”, and its main element will be 40 thousand living roses.

The artist admitted that the idea of decorations based on the principles of inclusion and friendliness.

“In the design I used is warm and soft forms that create a comfortable atmosphere not only for those who will be in the hall, but also for spectators who will watch the broadcast at home,” wrote the artist

1st look at my design for the 91st Academy Awards. I think we can all agree that the world is filled with too many straight lines & rigid thinking. For this years #oscars I have designed a world based on the ideas of inclusion & community. The design uses warm welcoming shapes that will not only reach out & wrap around the audience but towards the viewers at home. We call this piece the CRYSTAL CLOUD. It’s only one of many looks for the #oscars on February 24 (a week from today). It weighs 1600 lbs & I can tell you (because we teched it yesterday) that it’s truly spectacular in person. Can’t wait for you all to see what we are cooking up for the telecast. Did I mention we have about 40,000 real roses on stage?

After the scandal in connection with homophobic statements actor Kevin HART refused to perform the ceremony, the organizers “connected” to the ceremony a number of celebrities who will go on stage is Daniel Craig, Whoopi Goldberg, brie Larson, Jennifer Lopez, Gary Oldman, only 13 of Hollywood stars.
