ODESSA-KIEV. July 10. UNN. On the highway Kiev – Odessa fire occurred on the tour bus, which was carrying children. About it reported in a press-service of the patrol police of the Odessa region, reports UNN.
“Yesterday, about 21 hours, the patrol received information about the fire tour bus on the highway M-05 “Kiev-Odessa”, – stated in the message.
At the specified address, militiamen found a NEOPLAN bus, which was carrying 57 children accompanied by their parents. The driver of passenger transport made an emergency stop on the roadside due to a fire in the engine compartment. At the scene worked rescuers who evacuated the passengers to a safe distance and the fire under control.
Law enforcement officers informed the carrier that provided transportation services, and resulted in additional transport. All the time before the arrival of the next bus they provided the passengers with drinking water, food and provide other assistance as needed. Now the expert group finds out all circumstances of incident.
By results of check will be carried out the relevant preventive work with passenger carriers.
