KIEV. 15 Aug. UNN. On the death of a child from a snake bite in the Lviv region Prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings on the fact of improper performance of their professional duties by medical workers, resulting in a dead 4-year-old resident of the city. It is reported by UNN citing the press-service of Prosecutor’s office in Lviv region.
“In the Unified register of pretrial investigations included information on the fact of improper performance of their professional duties by medical workers, which has caused heavy consequences of a minor, a criminal offense under part 2 of article 140 of the criminal code (death of a young child)”, — reported in Prosecutor’s office.
During a pretrial investigation it is established that the victim, on 12 August 2018, taken from Skole district Central hospital ENT fault memory “SDMC” with the preliminary diagnosis — the bite of a snake lower limb.
In the Lviv medical facility, the girl was in for two days, where on 14 August 2018 died. Conducting pre-trial investigation is entrusted to investigative management of GU of national police in the Lviv region and its course is on control of Prosecutor’s office of area.
