As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine will not take part in the international Eurovision song contest in 2019. The national public broadcasting company of Ukraine, as every year, invited the winner of the selection, the singer MARUV, to sign a contract for representation of Ukraine at the song contest, but after negotiations MARUV refused to sign the contract.
Alternately, the broadcaster appealed to the finalists, second and third place by results of selection, but group Freedom Jazz and Kazka also refused to participate in Eurovision-2019.
