Officials of the Odessa customs will answer in court for fraud with oil products in the “scheme of S. Kurchenko”

ODESSA-KIEV. July 6. UNN. Today the Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region sent in the Reni district court indictment in respect of three officials of the Odessa customs, involved in frauds with oil. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of the Prosecutor of Odessa region.

“It is established that customs officials in collusion with other persons, under the guise of transit and re-export was implemented on the territory of Ukraine 800 thousand tons of oil products, using fake documents and bogus companies. As a result of criminal actions of individuals in the state budget received more than UAH 2.1 million of obligatory payments”, – stated in the message.

We will remind, in June of this year, according to the court decision applied to the special confiscation of all property of JSC “Odessa oil refinery” and OOO in favor of the state . According to preliminary estimates the estimated value of confiscated goods is more than $ 200 million.
